Welcome

I have enjoyed drawing and painting all my life, but it was only after I retired that I was able to really indulge in my passion for art.

I am primarily a plein-air artist and my main inspiration is drawn from the countryside around my home in Dorset. The Jurassic Coast is a popular destination for me, as well as the woodlands and farmlands near my home. I also travel abroad to paint, and have enjoyed holidays for the past ten years in India. As my childhood was spent in India, I am very comfortable setting up my easel and painting in the most glorious surroundings. I spent three months in Australia and was inspired by the strong light and the vibrant colours of the landscape.
